The Independence Day Celebrations, Harvestfest, Smoky Mountain Traditions, Springfest and Winterfest are the most popular annual activities. Arts and crafts, galleries, fine dining establishments and numerous attractions participate together to showcase life in the Appalachians and the Smoky Mountains with seasonal decorations and famous light displays.

19 - 23:  Susie Millar, descendant of Thomas Millar, Harland & Wolff employee aboard Titanic
The Titanic Museum. Susie Millar, who was a longtime television reporter in Ireland, a famous author, and Thomas Millar's great granddaughter, will visit the Titanic Museum Attraction in Pigeon Forge during March
. Her great grandfather, Thomas Millar of Belfast, Ireland was an engineer of Harland & Wolff, the British heavy industrial company that specialized in ship building. In the early 1900s, the company designed and built the RMS Olympic and her sister-ships, the RMS Titanic and HMHS Britannic. At Harland & Wolff, Millar worked as an engine fitter and helped build the engines for both the Olympic and the Titanic. In honor of her visit, the Titanic Museum Attraction has prepared a special display focused on her great grandfather, Thomas Millar. For more information, please contact us at 800-381-7670.
